I’m alive and Deanna Oscar 3 is out!

Lack of blogging is a symptom of my life. The last two years have been rough. In Jan of 2015 my dad went into the hospital…he passed away in 2017 so my releases have been sparse. My writing time hijacked often.

One of the weird things about the last two years is, I’m a control freak. Type A, whatever you want to call it. So when I write, I write a lot. I like having a plan etc… BUT hospital, doctors, and even death…they don’t care about anyone’s schedule. They do whatever they want whenever they want…You learn to let go and be ready at a random call to go to the hospital or to the store because Dad needs something or your newly widowed mom needs something…

Drop everything…at a moment’s notice. That’s been my last two years. SO no wonder it’s hard for me to try and get back into a schedule. To get a writing plan and get to work. I’m still grieving and dealing with stuff in the family and the holidays won’t be easy…

But I want to get back to writing. I love my readers, my stories, and my own life needs to happen. So I’m working on that. It’s harder than it seems because I keep worrying that there will be another emergency. So I have to figure out this new phase in my life.

I did manage to write one new Deanna Oscar Book this year!!! I will have more next year too…hopefully 3 new Deanna Oscars!

A Bar, A Brother, And A Ghost Hunt

Deanna Oscar Paranormal Mystery Book 3

Blurb:

Whether it was a time warp or just a time jump, Deanna Oscar spent years in Chicago with her brother while he fought cancer and ultimately lost. But even as a ghost, he’s not making things easier on his sister. He’s refusing to cross over.

De heads back to New Orleans to resume her work but her brother fails to show up in Heaven and Gran is in a tizzy. Also De’s friend, Ivy, committed our favorite medium to do a ghost hunt with one of those annoying TV shows. De wanted things to go back to normal—deal with supernatural problems and catch a murderer or two.

But the location for the ghost hunt is very much haunted and she can’t say no when a man sits in jail for a murder he denies he committed while working at a bar that oozes evil. Deanna juggles angels, demons, and Death himself plus a puppy! She’ll probably solve the mystery, hopefully save her brother, and maybe even find a date to her ex-boyfriend’s wedding in time.
